Ric’s sculptures are like 3D puzzles, except there are no predetermined plans, no parts that already fit together, no examples to follow. If there is a word that can characterize his work, it would be “clever”.

His pieces are ironically both a continuation and a departure – of design thoughts, of shapes and of materials. He expects his upcoming work to become more political in nature, still clever, but subtle, and therefore most likely understood only by its intended audience. More to come…
